Weekend rides cover up to 30 miles over two days and is suitable for Beginners, Novices, Intermediate and Experienced riders.  Travelling  locally in the Black Mountains, Cwmdu, Llangors and Talgarth areas. The costs are from £180 which includes all riding, accommodation & meals for a 2 day stay.

Hay Triangle  cover up to 55 miles over 3 days and is suitable for Intermediate & Experienced riders. The route takes riders all around the Black Mountains including Llanbedr, Pandy, Llanthony, Hay-on-Wye & Felindre areas. The costs are from £450 for a 3 day holiday.

Full 6 day holidays are offered to all abilities:

Black Mountains Trail covers up to 90 miles over 6 days and is suitable for Beginners, Novices, Intermediate  and Experienced riders. The areas covered are the Black Mountains, Cwmdu, Llangors, Talgarth, Felindre & Bwlch. Costs from £ £550 for a 7 day stay.

National Park Trail
Covers up to 110 miles over 6 days and is suitable for Intermediate and Experienced riders. The route goes in the Black Mountains, Cwmdu, Llangors, Talgarth, Brecon, over  the Brecon Beacons, Bwlch, Llanbedr, Pandy, Llanthony, Hay-on-Wye & Felindre areas. Costs from £800 for a 7 day stay.

Trans Wales Trail
The BIG ONE! Will only suit fit Intermediate & Experienced riders , this route covers up to 120 miles over 6 days. Travelling through the Black Mountains, Talgarth over Mynydd Epynt, Builth Wells, Cambrian Mountains, Rhayader, Elan Valley, Llangurig over Plynlimon down to Borth and finally to Ynyslas Beach on the Irish Sea! Cost from ££950 for a 7 day stay.

The costs include hire of a horse which is selected to suit each individual rider, accommodation and meals.
Everything is booked in advance for each rider and costs include the logistics of moving luggage, horses and tack back (from the coast) as well as providing expert guides and quality, surefooted horses.

Tregoyd Mountain Riders offer a variety of experiences and are now offering a new 3-5 day riding holiday for Experienced riders.

The Black Mountain Trail Ride can be tailor made to the rider’s  wishes and can be designed as a 3, 4 or 5 day riding holiday. Naturally the longer one stays the further distance one can cover.

Accommodation is booked ahead at a variety of horse friendly accommodation en route, luggage is transferred  for the riders.  Expert guides lead the way and riders are matched to horses that best suit them.

Cost is from £450 for a 3 day inclusive trail holiday.
