Cantref Horse Riding Centre, Brecon Beacons National Park
Cantref Horse Riding Centre is the only horse riding centre that goes goes directly onto the central hills of the Brecon Beacons – including the foothills of Pen-y-Fan. Located just a few miles from Brecon.
Cantref offers the following
- 20 minute rides – ideal for young children
- Red Kite Ride – one hours ride - ideal for families wanting to ride together
- Brecon Beacons Explorer – half day ride which takes you onto the hills of the central Brecon Beacons, spectacular scenery
- Brecon Beacons Welsh Pony Trail – a day’s ride taking you straight into the heart of the Brecon Beacons
- Lessons – children and adults are welcome and are given helpful and friendly guidance from qualified staff.
Cantref is also a registered pony club centre and is a member of WTRA (Wales Trekking and Guiding Association).
