It’s not just riders who come to enjoy the Park. For the active non-rider there is road cycling, mountain biking , walking, canoeing and birdwatching not to mention gliding, mountain boarding, climbing and gorge walking
Or you might want to relax with a game of golf, breathing pure mountain air .There is always the gentle pleasures of browsing for second-hand books in Hay-on-Wye and antique shopping in Brecon
There is plenty for families too, from museums celebrating the area’s industrial past and castles steeped in history, to the Brecon Mountain Railway and underground world of the Dan-yr-Ogof Caves. Or treat them to an introduction to rock climbing and pot holing at Llangors Activity Centre.
