If riding seems too physical or daunting, the Park has a range of other equestrian activities to excite you.
How about carriage driving? The Dragon Drive is a two-day off road pleasure drive through Crychan Forrest that takes place every September. Although restricted to members of the British Driving Society, the public is welcome to watch at several points on the route.
Visit Dragon Drive or

Trotting races are normally associated with America, but Wales has a dedicated following of this modern-day version of charioteering (known officially as ‘harness racing’).
Every summer there are meets where everyone is welcome to see highly-trained horses career around the track without breaking into a canter. Most also provide on-course betting to add extra spice to the experience.
